Born 1957. Practises as counsel and attorney before courts and arbitration tribunals in the areas of corporate, tax, labour, contract and inheritance law; additional knowledge in aviation law.

Extensive experience in corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions; national and international commercial and contract matters; real estate transactions; matrimonial and inheritance contracts; wills and execution of wills. Frequently acts as attorney in tax appeal procedures; provides any kind of notarial services.

Education: Legal studies at the University of Basel.

Languages: English, French and German.

Experience: Worked in the tax advisory department of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Basel; attorney and notary public in Basel since 1987. Delegate of the Basel Chamber of Commerce for tax matters; lecturer in tax law at the Basel Business School (professional training institute for certified accountants/controllers); lecturer in aviation law at the Basel Flight Academy.

Memberships: Basel Bar Association (President 2001 - 2004); Swiss Bar Association; Basel Notary Association and Swiss Notary Association.

Publications: Author of numerous legal publications, especially on tax law.
